The founder

sticklett is a female-led hardware start-up founded and led by DI Michaela Schicho.

With her unique combination of technical expertise and a flair for fashion, as well as a deep-rooted awareness of health, she shapes the very essence of sticklett.

Her greatest inspiration comes from her two children, and this is precisely what drives her: With passion and clarity, she pursues her vision of making technology wearable and meaningfully integrating it into the everyday lives of families.

After studying Applied Computer Science at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, she worked in research in the field of biomedical information systems and gained experience in leading technology companies.

Before that, she enjoyed success in the fashion world: As a multi-award-winning fashion designer, she made her mark on the creative scene, building on her training at the Higher Federal College for Fashion and Clothing Technology in Villach.

Her journey, however, began much earlier: at the age of 11, she was already programming her first robots on her dad’s computer and sewing dresses for her dolls on her grandmother’s sewing machine...

STICKLETT DOESN'T FOLLOW TRENDS – IT SETS NEW STANDARDS

Sticklett is a high-quality and health-conscious brand for smart baby and children's fashion based in Klagenfurt on the beautiful Wörthersee.

The entire collections are made in the EU. The highest level of manufacturing quality and pattern construction art is used for each individual collection.

There is high-end technology and engineering in our heroes, and no expense is spared. Each of our heroes transforms the garment into a luxury item that ensures good health and care for our little ones.

sticklett writes history

In 2017, sticklett presented its first collection at JOT Junior Fashion in Salzburg.
In 2019, the smart ladybird MARY by sticklett generated a lot of excitement on the TV show 2 Minuten 2 Millionen.
In 2019, sticklett won the Fashion Tech Award in Paris. In the following years, sticklett was featured in numerous media publications such as WOMAN, Baby&Junior and NewMom.
In 2021, the company received the Born Global Champion award.
In 2024, sticklett was honoured with the European Retail Award.
In 2025, the new MARY by sticklett MOON was successfully launched in the DACH region.
In 2026, sticklett showcased its products at the legendary Pitchbühel in Kitzbühel. New distribution partnerships were established with pharmacies in Austria and Germany.
